It will allow those who could not take part in this scholarly event to get all the flavour of the latest views about Conrad’s novel exchanged in a friendly atmosphere. It deals notably with the polymorphous and multicultural aspects of the novel, and with themes such as social class, culture shock, tragedy, chivalry, and the code of honour.
